How is the traditional city downtown area changing? Where do urban elites gather? Where does the Chinese community congregate? These are some of the questions addressed by the guidebook Rutas metropolitanas por la nueva Barcelona (Metropolitan Routes through the new Barcelona) – a series of atypical itineraries through the city and its surroundings. This guidebook has been put together by students from MACBA Independent Studies Programme (PEI).
