Sergi Aguilar. Revers anvers
The publication Sergi Aguilar. Revers anvers [Sergi Aguilar: Back Front] is presented as a journey through over forty years of sculpture by Sergi Aguilar (Barcelona 1946) and explores the tension between process and object, scale and accumulation. It includes an extensive selection of works and photographs which make up a story in no chronological order that plays with the metaphor of the artist’s studio. This offers a way into particular concepts (space, nature, time, land, desert, displacement) and key objects (iron, marble, topographies, cards, badges, trunks, maps, photographs, collages and tables). The book features a text by the sculptor himself and an essay by Valentín Roma.
