Gary Hill: Hand Heard. Withershins. Midnight

In this exhibition Gary Hill continued to deepen his work around the deconstruction/reconstruction of ideas and images from Western culture through two installations – HanD HearD, Withershins and Midnight Crossing – that required the spectator’s physical and intellectual participation. This publication reflects the research that Hill carried out at the Museum on the cultural frameworks that people adopt as a result of reading and listening to written and audio texts. It also includes full documentation of these installations by Hill, and an extensive bibliography of the artist.
